The extreme snowfall in Colorado this year caused the leaves to turn exceptionally late. Unfortunately, we had to leave the area early and were unable to take advantage of the amazing conditions that occurred shortly after we left. Many photographers sat out this year because of the timing. Rather than sitting back, I decided to take advantage of the unique conditions and find a different variety of photographs, including the tundra which was a vibrant rainbow of colors. Many of these images are not your traditional Colorado fall photos, which is why I enjoy them even more.
